Frezyderm Active Sun Screen Lip Balm SPF50+ is a hydrating lip balm that protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays as well as from visible light and Infrared.
Frezyderm Active Sun Screen Lip Balm SPF50+ is a water-resistant sunscreen that hydrates the lips while creating a protective barrier. The formula is rich and comfortable, creating a nourishing layer that instantly replenishes the lips and protects from premature aging.
The formula combines powerful actives in order to hydrate and protect the lips. To begin with, Polysaccharides of marine origin help to reduce photo-aging and skin reactiveness upon exposure to UV rays. At the same time, Gossypium herbaceum - plant stem cells - help to reduce oxidative stress and offer healing properties while protecting the skin from solid particles. Additionally, Theobroma grandiflorum plant oil offers anti-inflammatory action, reduces water loss and enhances the hydration levels. Equally important, Low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid not only hydrates but also protects the water balance of the skin.
Apply Frezyderm Active Sun Screen Lip Balm SPF50+ generously onto the lips before sun exposure and reapply frequently.

Sunscreen gets its protective power from ingredients called sun filters, which fall into two groups. "Mineral" is the common name for inorganic filters, of which there are only two: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. "Chemical" is the common name for organic filters, which are carbon-based compounds and cover multiple different ingredients. A mineral sunscreen uses only inorganic filters, a chemical sunscreen uses only organic filters, and a sunscreen that combines both is known as a hybrid.
Both types of filters mainly protect the skin by absorbing UV radiation. Mineral filters, along with a few organic ones, also reflect a small portion of it.
SPF measures protection against UVB radiation. In the EU, the highest SPF on a cosmetic sunscreen label is SPF50+, which corresponds to the "very high protection" category and is used when the measured SPF is 60 or higher.
Some sunscreens, usually designed for specific skin conditions, are classified as medical devices rather than cosmetics, and these can show higher values, such as SPF100.
