With two menstrual cups in different sizes, the Enna Cycle Starter Kit contains everything you need to start exploring the world of menstrual cups.

About

The Enna Cycle Starter Kit contains everything you need to start using a menstrual cup. A menstrual cup is a soft, malleable container that is inserted into the vagina during menstruation to collect the menstrual flow. Unlike tampons, a menstrual cup does not absorb blood; instead, the blood remains inside the cup until the cup can be removed. Because it can be sterilized and reused, a menstrual cup is a safe and eco-friendly alternative to disposable menstrual products, such as tampons and pads.

The Enna Cycle menstrual cup is a soft and malleable menstrual cup made from medical-grade silicone. It has been developed according to the advice of world-renowned gynecologists; therefore, it is a safe, reliable option for those looking for a reusable menstrual product. If cared for properly, it can last up to 10 years! Comfortable and practical, the Enna Cycle cup meets all quality and health standards, and it can stay in place for up to 12 hours. Unlike other cups on the market, it has a practical applicator, to help you insert the cup correctly, and a sterilizer box, to ensure your cup is always clean and ready to use.

This Enna Cycle kit contains the following products:
  • Enna Cycle Menstrual Cup Size S (cup is 38mm wide and 46mm long, thread is 70mm long)
  • Enna Cycle Menstrual Cup Size S-Short
  • Enna Moisturizing Intimate External Gel 50ml
  • Applicator
  • Sterilizer box

This starter kit contains two Enna Cycle menstrual cups: one cup in a regular size S, and a smaller menstrual cup in a size S-Short. The S-Short size is perfect for beginners, or for those with a lower cervix, who may benefit from using a shorter cup. The kit also includes the applicator and sterilizer box, and, finally, the Enna Moisturizing Intimate External Gel, to complement the balance of your external intimate area.

How to insert the menstrual cup with the applicator

The Enna Cycle applicator will help you insert the menstrual cup correctly, in an easy and intuitive way. Simply fold the menstrual cup and insert it into the applicator, keeping the "string" or thread inside the applicator. Then, insert the barrel of the applicator inside the vagina. Once the barrel is comfortably inside, push the smaller tube using your index finger; this will push the menstrual cup into the correct location. Remove the applicator carefully, and adjust the cup as needed to get it to open inside. Wash the applicator with intimate soap and water after each use.

How to insert the menstrual cup without the applicator

Fold your menstrual cup in order to make it as small as possible. Then, slide the folded cup into the vagina towards your tailbone. Once inserted, adjust the cup as needed in order to get it to open and form a suction-like seal around the walls of the vagina.

How to remove the menstrual cup

Use the "string" or thread as a guide to reach the bottom of the menstrual cup. Then, nudge or pinch the base of the cup in order to break the suction-like seal. As more air enters the vagina, you will be able to remove the cup with ease. Try not to pull on the thread of the menstrual cup, as it may break.

How to sterilize the menstrual cup

Sterilize your menstrual cup once a month, before the beginning of your menstrual period. In order to do this, fill the sterilizer box with water, then place the menstrual cup inside the sterilizer box. Keep the lid of the box open. Then, place the sterilizer box in the microwave and heat it for around 3 minutes, or until the water boils. Once the water has boiled, remove the sterilizer box from the microwave, pour the water out, and let the menstrual cup dry upside down inside the box.

If you don't want to use the microwave, you can also pour boiling water over the menstrual cup inside the sterilizer box. Let it sit for 3 minutes, then leave it to dry.
