Vichy Capital Soleil Dry Touch Protective Face Fluid SPF50+ is a lightweight sunscreen that provides high UV protection and reduces shine.

Product Description

Vichy Capital Soleil Dry Touch Protective Face Fluid SPF50+ is a daily sunscreen for combination to oily skin that offers very high UVA and UVB protection. In addition, it helps control excess shine and leaves the skin with a matte finish. Its broad-spectrum protection helps prevent sunburn, premature aging, and skin damage caused by UV rays. Additionally, formulated with a lightweight, non-greasy texture, this fluid spreads easily and absorbs quickly. As a result, it provides a comfortable and invisible finish without leaving a residue. Furthermore, because it has a dry-touch finish, it helps mattify the skin and reduce oiliness throughout the day.

Ideal for those with oily or combination skin, this sunscreen is suitable for everyday use. It works well under makeup or on its own, providing a matte effect while protecting the skin during the day.

In this section we answer frequently asked questions about Vichy Capital Soleil Dry Touch Protective Face Fluid SPF50+

What's the difference between mineral and chemical sunscreens?

Sunscreen gets its protective power from ingredients called sun filters, which fall into two groups. "Mineral" is the common name for inorganic filters, of which there are only two: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. "Chemical" is the common name for organic filters, which are carbon-based compounds and cover multiple different ingredients. A mineral sunscreen uses only inorganic filters, a chemical sunscreen uses only organic filters, and a sunscreen that combines both is known as a hybrid.

Both types of filters mainly protect the skin by absorbing UV radiation. Mineral filters, along with a few organic ones, also reflect a small portion of it.

What is the highest sunscreen SPF?

SPF measures protection against UVB radiation. In the EU, the highest SPF on a cosmetic sunscreen label is SPF50+, which corresponds to the "very high protection" category and is used when the measured SPF is 60 or higher.

Some sunscreens, usually designed for specific skin conditions, are classified as medical devices rather than cosmetics, and these can show higher values, such as SPF100.
