Before using the Chicco Manual Breast Pump, wash your hands and cleanse the breast skin. While sitting in a comfortable position, fit the cup over your breast, ensuring that the nipple is centered properly. To extract the milk, gently hold the handle down until you feel the suction on your breast, then release it. Start with quick movements of holding down and releasing the handle to stimulate milk expression. Once the milk starts flowing, slow down the movements by holding down the handle for 1 or 2 seconds before releasing it. Adjust the rhythm and strength according to your preferences and the amount of milk expressed.
Once the milk is extracted, close the milk container with the lid and store it in the fridge (for up to 48 hours) or the freezer (for up to 3 months). Alternatively, if you want to feed the baby right away, attach the ring and teat to the container, transforming it into a feeding bottle.
