K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask 5ml is a 4-minute treatment that repairs hair chains at the molecular level, reversing hair damage caused by chemical treatments, bleaching, coloring, or heat.

Product Description

K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask 5ml is a high-performance treatment that repairs damaged hair at the molecular level, delivering results in just four minutes. Its action is powered by the proprietary K18PEPTIDE™, a patented and innovative biomimetic peptide that mimics the hair's structure. Thanks to this, it is able to reconnect broken polypeptide chains and disulfide bonds at the innermost hair layers, offering lasting and progressive hair repair. So, this product helps repair bonds damaged by chemical treatments, bleaching, coloring, or heat styling. It also improves hair elasticity, strength, and resilience, for hair that feels strong, smooth, and bouncy. Even more, the formula features a pH of 5.0 to 6.0, helping to minimize hair cuticle swelling and putting hair proteins in their most resilient state.

The highly concentrated formula requires no rinsing and acts quickly, making it convenient to use. With regular use, it delivers progressive benefits, allowing long-term maintenance of healthy-looking hair even after chemical or thermal procedures. Last but not least, this product is suitable for all hair types and textures, providing a solution to damage-related concerns, whether caused by color, heat, or chemical services.

How to use

Before using K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask 5ml, shampoo your hair and do not apply hair conditioner. Then, towel-dry the hair. Dispense 1-3 pumps of product onto your hands (depending on your hair length and density) and rub them together until the product turns white. Then, apply it to the hair, starting at the ends and working up towards the roots. Let it sit for 4 minutes. Do not rinse out. Finally, comb the hair, add any styling products, and style your hair as usual. For best and progressive results, use for 4 to 6 washes post-salon service and then as needed.

FAQs

In this section we answer frequently asked questions about K18 Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask 5ml (0.17floz)

What is hair bond repair?

Hair is held together by different types of bonds, which define its strength, shape, and flexibility. Chemical processing, bleaching, heat styling, and rough brushing can damage these bonds. Bond repair products, also called bond builders, work to rebuild or reinforce these bonds. Not all of them work the same way: some use ingredients designed to reconnect broken bonds directly, while others use acids, like citric or lactic acid, to lower the hair's pH and smooth the cuticle, reducing friction and breakage. They're generally aimed at dry, damaged, or chemically processed hair.
