Eucerin Sun Sensitive Protect Kids Spray SPF50+ is a very high protection spray-on sunscreen for babies and children.
Eucerin Sun Sensitive Protect Kids Spray SPF50+ is a practical spray-on sunscreen lotion that soothes and protects sensitive skin while reducing the risk of long-term skin damage. The Advanced Spectral Technology combines broadband and photostable UVA and UVB filters, for very high UV protection, with Licochalcone A, to neutralize free radicals caused by UV and HEVIS light. The formula also includes Glycyrrhetinic Acid, which supports the skin’s own DNA repair mechanism. Unperfumed and extra water-resistant, this product is clinically and dermatologically proven to be suitable for children’s sensitive skin, and may be used on babies as young as three months. The spray-on applicator allows for practical application and re-application on the go, ensuring that young children remain protected from the sun all day long.
Apply Eucerin Sun Sensitive Protect Kids Spray SPF50+ generously before sun exposure and reapply frequently, especially after swimming, perspiring or toweling, to maintain the original level of protection. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Avoid contact with the eyes.
In this section we answer frequently asked questions about Eucerin Sun Sensitive Protect Kids Spray Sunscreen SPF50+ 200ml (6.76floz)
Sunscreen gets its protective power from ingredients called sun filters, which fall into two groups. "Mineral" is the common name for inorganic filters, of which there are only two: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. "Chemical" is the common name for organic filters, which are carbon-based compounds and cover multiple different ingredients. A mineral sunscreen uses only inorganic filters, a chemical sunscreen uses only organic filters, and a sunscreen that combines both is known as a hybrid.
Both types of filters mainly protect the skin by absorbing UV radiation. Mineral filters, along with a few organic ones, also reflect a small portion of it.
SPF measures protection against UVB radiation. In the EU, the highest SPF on a cosmetic sunscreen label is SPF50+, which corresponds to the "very high protection" category and is used when the measured SPF is 60 or higher.
Some sunscreens, usually designed for specific skin conditions, are classified as medical devices rather than cosmetics, and these can show higher values, such as SPF100.
