La Roche-Posay Anthelios Age Correct Gel-Cream SPF50 is a facial sunscreen that protects the skin from the sun and pollution, all the while minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots.
La Roche-Posay Anthelios Age Correct Gel-Cream SPF50 is a facial sunscreen that protects from the harmful effects of sun and pollution exposure. Featuring broad-spectrum filters, this sunscreen protects from UVA and UVB rays as well as from infrared radiation. Its technology also prevents pollution particles from sticking to the skin. Resistant to water, sweat and invisible sand particles, this formula provides lasting and reliable protection. The texture is lightweight and incredibly pleasant, with a velvety and non-oily finish that is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.
More than the new CELLOX-B3 technology and Mexoryl XL sun protection filters, the formula combines hyaluronic acid together with PHE-resorcinol and niacinamide for the best results. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid contributes to plump wrinkles and minimizes their appearance while PHE-Resorcinol works to reduce the appearance of dark spots. Equally important, niacinamide soothes the skin and contributes to minimizing hyperpigmentation. As a result, each application coats your skin with a strong shield that prevents photo-aging and helps to correct visible signs of aging such as wrinkles and dark spots. In addition, it provides the skin with 24 hours of lightweight and comfortable hydration .
Apply La Roche-Posay Anthelios Age Correct Gel-Cream SPF50 generously onto the skin and neck. Apply it after your favorite daily moisturizer and reapply every two hours.

Sunscreen gets its protective power from ingredients called sun filters, which fall into two groups. "Mineral" is the common name for inorganic filters, of which there are only two: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. "Chemical" is the common name for organic filters, which are carbon-based compounds and cover multiple different ingredients. A mineral sunscreen uses only inorganic filters, a chemical sunscreen uses only organic filters, and a sunscreen that combines both is known as a hybrid.
Both types of filters mainly protect the skin by absorbing UV radiation. Mineral filters, along with a few organic ones, also reflect a small portion of it.
SPF measures protection against UVB radiation. In the EU, the highest SPF on a cosmetic sunscreen label is SPF50+, which corresponds to the "very high protection" category and is used when the measured SPF is 60 or higher.
Some sunscreens, usually designed for specific skin conditions, are classified as medical devices rather than cosmetics, and these can show higher values, such as SPF100.
